This is the last week for companies and individuals to enter the London Construction Awards – our quest for the built environment’s most innovative projects and products, together with its top individuals, teams and collaborations. Entries close September 11th.

The LCAs, organised by elementalLONDON and London Build, are designed to reward best practice and innovation in buildings and construction. All projects are eligible nationwide – the “London” in the title simply refers to where the awards are held.

With just seven days on the clock, now’s the moment to get your entry in. This year the awards feature additional categories to reflect elementalLONDON’s universe of buildings efficiency, low-carbon performance and occupant comfort, so there’s more scope than ever to be recognised.

The London Construction Awards have proved universally popular with the built environment sector in the decade since their launch – last year saw a record 300 entries across 23 categories. Past winners have featured some big names from the built environment, including Atkins Realis, GSK and Mace, so you’ll be in good company.

This year’s awards feature 21 categories in total, providing scope for all parts of the built environment supply chain to enter. Categories include Contractor of the Year, Women in Construction Initiative, and no fewer than three Project categories – Residential, Commercial and Retrofit.

The new categories this year are Energy Efficient Innovation of the Year, Low-Carbon Building of the Year, and The Occupant Impact Award.

The awards will take place on the evening of the first day of the elementalLONDON and London Build shows at Excel – November 25th – so shortlisted entrants won’t need to make a special journey to London for the event. It remains a black tie occasion, keeping the LCA’s reputation as one of the most glamorous awards nights in the sector and this year will be hosted by Maisie Adam.

One week left. Don’t miss out. Head to the category list now to see which ones you can enter – entries close on September 11th.
