Industry and public sector groups invited to join Heat Network Scotland

The newly-established independent voice for the heat network sector in Scotland is inviting the supply chain, public sector organisations and communities to join the organisation as a Founding Member.

With the window to close on 31 March, all interested parties interested in, or impacted by, the development of heat networks in Scotland are invited to join Heat Network Scotland, which is billing itself as the go-to organisation for heat network knowledge and discussion in Scotland.

It said its mission is to champion the development of heat networks across Scotland to enable the transition to a low-carbon, affordable, and resilient energy system. HNS said:

Joining HNS as a Founding Member is a one-off opportunity to become part of a long-lasting organisation and establish your organisation as a strategic player in the sector. It is also an opportunity to shape the initial agenda and set priorities.”

The group already has 40 members from industry, research, education, the third sector, the public sector and communities, as well as central and local government.
